Growing up with Dutch roots, stroopwafels were a treat to have. One year a friend introduced me to homemade stroopwafels with her waffle iron. I was hooked. Not only did I enjoy making them, but they were better than any I’d had in Canada. I started making them for friends and family. In October 2024 I bought my own waffle iron and made several hundred by Christmas. I have since decided to share the love.
